Best Fiverr Review in 2021
Is Fiverr Legal/ Is Fiverr Legit?
From freelance copywriting to logo design in many industries, Fiverr handles some of the best deals, some for as little as $ 5! But without a mixed review and free trial process, you can understand if you have any doubts.
Because we know how hard it is to find professional freelancers and how frustrating it can be to hire someone who can’t keep their promises, we tested Fiverr. We analyzed its features, ease of use, customer support and much more.
In fact, we looked at Fiverr more closely than any other company. We used Fiverr as part of our quest to find the best logo design service. We tested Fiverr at three different prices: low, medium and high. You can read about our test in our review of Fiverr’s logo design service.
Before you line up your time and money, read our in-depth review to know once and for all – is Fiverr a safe choice for your projects?
How does Fiverr work?
Fiverr makes it very easy to contact and hire a freelancer. While a huge pool of skills can feel overwhelming, search functionality certainly simplifies the process (more on that later). The review system helps to dispel doubts about their performance.
Minimize risk with easy-to-read sales levels
On Fiverr, you can instantly increase the performance of a freelancer. All you have to do is check the sales level next to their username. This can save time by helping you quickly get rid of anyone who has not proven themselves on stage. Sales level is based on delivery time, customer satisfaction and service quality.
The four sales levels are:
New Seller – This is where every freelancer starts. It’s a sign that the seller is relatively inexperienced.
First Level Seller – A seller can reach the first level after 60 days but only if they have completed at least 10 gigs with high satisfaction.
Second tier seller – Only sellers who have been on Fiverr for 120 days and have received top ratings and 50 orders on time will reach this level.
If things go wrong, you have a lot of options
From time to time Fiverr is loaded with talented freelancers who will not let you down, and from time to time, you may meet people who can’t keep their promises. Thanks, if you pay for a gig and the seller can’t be trusted, you have different ways to deal with it.
First, if the seller is 24 hours late and does not respond, you can cancel the order and get a refund. If your freelancer offers tasks that do not comply with the terms of the agreement, you can try turning to Fiverr’s resolution center. If you can’t come to an agreement with your seller, you can always go to the customer support team and get things fixed.
Top Rated Seller – If a seller has the highest rating, it is a good sign that they are trustworthy. These freelancers have been on Fiverr for at least 180 days and have placed over 100 orders (earn at least $ 20,000), all of which satisfy their buyers.
Good support and an amazing support center
To see how good Fiverr’s customer support is, I tested it. Fiverr gives you only two options to support:
Submitting a Request Ticket through the Buyer’s Help Center
I asked a few different questions from the two existing channels. Responses were quick, but not always helpful. Some customer service agents went out of their way to answer my questions but others completely ignored me.
The following are two responses, one useful and one completely useless:
Out of all the questions I asked, the support team answered only half. It does not seem to matter which connection method was used. Fortunately, if Fiverr’s agents discourage you, you still have options.
There is a very good help center where you can find blogs, step-by-step tutorials, tips and tutorial videos. These resources provide in-depth answers to the most likely questions you may have. There is also a forum where you can submit your question to other users, or find out if it has already been answered.
It is a good idea to test these resources first. It will definitely be faster and if you do not find the answer to your question, you can try contacting customer support one last time.
Pricing
Creating an account and applying for freelance recruitment is completely free. The only time you pay any Fiverr fee is when you buy a service. The fee is fairly reasonable and is based on a percentage of the total employment cost.
You will rarely pay more than a few bucks.
The cost shown in each gig is automatically adjusted to suit your location currency, so no math involved. Fiverr offers you multiple payment methods. This includes all major credit cards, PayPal and Apple Pay (via the mobile app).
All payments are prepaid and kept in Escrow. Fiverr will not release funds to your seller once you have approved the work. If the work does not meet your standards, you can give your freelancer the opportunity to resubmit or cancel the order. If you encounter any problems, you can always turn to customer service to help intervene.
Keep in mind that once a seller submits your work, you have three days (or 14 days for shipping orders) to accept or reject it. If you do not respond after the third day, your money will be released automatically.
