Kyivol AF600 Air Fryer |
The Kievol AF600 Airframe is priced at $ 129.99 and is available from Kivol and Amazon. It’s the successor to the AF60, the previous version of the Kaywall, which is not as powerful as the AF600, and has no Wi – Fi connection, and is priced at $ 109.99.
Kaywall says the air fryer is planned to be available in the UK but it is not clear when this will happen.
Design
- Capacity is 6 liters
- Fried basket and crunchy dishes are safe in the dishwasher
- The window allows you to check out the food
The Kywall AF600 measures 11.8 x 13.8 x 13 inches (w x h x d) and takes up a fair amount of space on your desk. It comes with a frying pan and a crunchy dish and both are dishwasher safe. It has a capacity of 6 pieces, which is enough to hold 1.5 kilograms of whole chicken or fries, says Kivol. Unlike most of the air fryers we reviewed, the crunchy basket comes with its own 9.2 x 4 inch plastic viewing window so you can check out how the cooking is done.
Like the Air Fry, we mentioned that the AF600 can be baked, baked, grilled, reheated and even dehydrated, making it one of the best air fryers we’ve tested.
The AF600 has a 1.5-inch LCD screening process that shows the cooking temperature and time, before which you can find up to 10 presets. These are for dishes that include fries, chicken, shrimp and even toast, all of which have a default temperature and cooking time – however this can be adjusted manually using the right dial.
The Kaiwol app has more than 100 recipes, a rehearsal function that can switch the temperature and cooking time to the recipe preset button, as well as an easy recipe activation, so it can be activated with a single tap. The crunchy basket and crunchy dishwasher are safe and the soft black plastic look can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth.
The air fryer can cook for about an hour at a time and the maximum temperature can reach 200 degrees. There is no recipe booklet in the box; Instead, as mentioned, the Kiol app offers more than 100 different recipes with suggested times, cooking temperatures and oil quantities.
Performance
- Sharp effects for both fries and chicken wings
- You can control the air fryer through an app
- No reminder to turn / shake food
As for the crunchy food, we were amazed at the Kiol AF600 Air Fryer – everything we cooked was incredibly tough, including the fries, frozen steak cut chips and chicken wings. The chicken wings were juicy and juicy and the homemade fries and frozen steak cut chips had a sharp look with smooth pale potatoes on the inside.
Air fryer is also great from a health point of view: chicken wings and frozen fries never need cooking oil, and when making homemade fries, the app recommended 1 teaspoon per 500 grams of potatoes. The viewing window was useful for checking out our meals, and the orange glow given by the interior light gave the dish a very tasty look while cooking. However, after placing the crunchy basket across the dishwasher, water marks remained on the viewing window, making it look a bit dirty.
Following the time and temperature suggestions in the instruction booklet, we do not need to change the settings – the results are correct. Unlike most of the air fryers we tested, the AF600 does not have frozen food processing. Instead we had to use French fries, and the frozen fries were mostly brown but the rest were not fully cooked. However, this can be easily corrected by including a reminder to partially turn or shake the food during cooking to make sure the items are evenly browned.
The only aircraft we have tested so far with a dedicated toast program is the Kaiwol AF600. However, the results were not so good – we found that the default time of eight minutes was much longer, creating a Melba toast effect than the breakfast slice we had hoped for. In addition, the hot air circulating in the air fryer was so powerful that it constantly washed our white loaf of bread out of the frying pan.
Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to control this airframe through your smartphone. If you miss the airwaves audio alert, it’s very easy to get a notification from your smartphone when food is ready.
In cooking, the AF600 recorded 55 dB for our decibel meter of noise, which is similar to the soft leather in a refrigerator. This makes it one of the quietest air fryers we’ve ever tested. Be careful though: Although most of the exterior covers on the Kaiwol AF600 remain cool until cooking, we advise you to avoid touching it whenever possible as the viewing window reaches 50ºC.
